Greg Cook

Greg Cook joined Canterbury in 1975 as a second row forward.

Greg rose quickly to be a regular member of the reserve grade team and played in the Preliminary Semi-Final against Cronulla.

Injury ruined Greg's 1976 season but returned in 1977 to be a regular prop in the Under 23s and played in the play-offs that season.

In 1978, Greg became a regular member of the reserve grade team and received the opportunity to play first grade against Western Suburbs as a replacement.

In 1979, Greg started the season late but became a regular member of the first grade team and played one match for NSW. He also played in the Grand Final against St George.

Greg's 1980 season was ruined by injury and returned in 1981 starting the season in reserve grade and finishing the season in first grade when Geoff Robinson was injured.

In 1982, Greg joined Illawarra and scored the club's first try in first grade. He played 17 games for Illawarra between 1982 and 1983 before retiring
